I went on holiday to France today. Anyone who has been following this will have noticed that I took the same picture from the same place at Easter. I can assure you it's not the same as before, I actually wanted a picture of the John Lennon statue at Liverpool airport, but there was a queue of people posing.

This time, I went Ryanair to Nimes which cost about £60 return; a good deal by anyone's standards. There was an hour's delay, which came as no surprise but I sat by the emergency exit where there is loads of leg room.

I am writing quite a lot earlier today than I normally do, it's a strange habit I always slip into in France of eating late around 8.30pm then going to bed at about 9.15pm if there's nothing on TV; which there never is. I then realised that that's why I'm always doing this so close to midnight every night; I watch loads of TV!

I'm going to have a rest tomorrow, then after that I simply don't know what to do for the month. I'm sure I'll go somewhere, I can only go for a week at a time though, my dad actually needs to do some shopping so he doesn't die, so I can't go buggering off with the car for too long!
