As I mentioned yesterday, I am now in France. What I didn't mention was the weather. You might be able to see from the picture that here it is lovely, if somewhat too hot and in England it is nasty and raining. This is great, but I have this skewed vision of Britain never really getting a decent amount of sun; I'm always on holiday when it happens!

The white thing which rather destroys the picture is a dilapidated swimming pool. When I was here at Easter, this had got frogs living in it. Luckily; the frogs have gone now, possibly into the neighbours' stew, and I've started to clean it out a bit. Tomorrow, the pressure washer comes out; I can already feel the power baby!

I'm going off to see Harry Potter tomorrow, so my plans to go away travelling are being put on hold. At least I've found stuff to do now though; I think I'll go around the local area, the beach is not quite walking distance, so it'll be nice to have a car!
