First day at the engineer's office today, the work was dull but I had a great time anyway. More importantly, I am writing so late because I have been witnessing Scotland beat France by one goal; in France! Of course I am all for Scotland when they play, but England beat Russia 3-0 with two goals from Owen and a scorcher from Ferdinand. At least, I think it was a scorcher, the game isn't on sodding French TV till two O'clock! Oh well, good to see them keeping up the good form anyway; it's not every day you get two great performances from England in a row!
