Day 173 - 14th September 2007

My day at work was spent printing stuff out, using the plotter that I got a picture of. It's Friday, and in France that unofficially means that it's OK to leave at lunchtime to go home.
This means that I watched a lot of pre match build up for the important England game versus South Africa. I had settled on the typical cynical conclusion that we would lose, with the hope that I would be proved wrong. Sadly, I wasn't; the score was 33-0 to them. Not a good day for the rugby then, I didn't think they'd be incapable of scoring points a least, but it really was a thrashing. Oh well, if we go through, it'll almost certainly be in second place now then, which would mean we get Australia next round. Plus, Robinson got injured; he's the only one who played but an apparent hamstring injury seems to have ended his world cup.
Tomorrow is Saturday, who knows what the weekend will bring? The locals are praying for rain, not a drop has fallen since May and stuff is catching fire quite easily now.
