Darkness has fallen upon the flat; that's because there's nobody left. One by one the people I live with have disappeared for the Christmas holidays. I'm only off on Tuesday and it's very odd being here alone; I've been walking around and I haven't seen a soul for hours now!

For the first time ever, I felt really, really sad. I seem to have got over it now though; it's only a month after all. I think everyone would agree that this is the first time they felt like a month was too long for a holiday...

Tomorrow I'm off to do some Christmas shopping at the Trafford Centre, right now though, I'm watching the last ever Parkinson show. He's had Michael Caine, Billy Conolly, David Attenborough, Peter Kay, Judi Dench and David Beckham on, a good line up but you'd hope so; he's been on TV over thirty years!
