Well, tomorrow it's time to go to France which gives me a good excuse to miss the school award ceremony in the evening; not that I ever needed one.I was surprised then, that they still wanted me to come in this morning to pick up my certificates, surely they could send them off in the post? Anyway, for one last time I went in on demand and what do you know; I got a special award!
It was presented to me on behalf of the language college, officially titled 'contribution to language college', and I met up and had a chat with some old teachers. Even though I having long been scathing of awards before, I did feel quite honoured about this one. It was nice to see some of the old bunch from way back when, I didn't feel particularly sad though; it's only today that I realised just how much that place has made me the person I am today.
As previously mentioned, it's time to go to France tomorrow, so I've been packing all evening after having been to get some late night shopping done in Shrewsbury. I'm looking forward to getting to France now, who knows what might lie ahead there? Actually; I do...
