Day 733 – 27th March 2009

Day 733

As promised – I went to Camargue today.

For people who might not have visited, I’d probably describe it as a salty version of the fens full of horses and bulls.

It is slightly more interesting than the fens though, and makes for way better pictures. I’m not sure I chose the right one, I must say that there were quite a few to work with today including stuff like flamingos and salt mountains, but I just had to go for that cracked ground leading up to the sea.

I’ve been here before but always in the summer - for such a flat place, absolutely shocking amount of tourists come to visit despite the fact it’s one of the hottest places in Europe.

This time of year is a great time to come, it’s cool, the flamingos are in, and nobody’s around. I like cities because there are loads of people, I don’t want the same thing going on out in the countryside, and nobody’s around here over springtime – perfect.

So, there’s little all else to mention – the F1 starts tomorrow, there’s been some big rule changes, so it’ll be an interesting weekend.
