I’ve been packing all day to go home in the morning and I’m once again extraordinarily tired. There’s still some stuff to be done, but it can wait until the morning. I did see this Ford Escort when I went for lunch, and I thought it’d be quite nice for picture of the day. There’s something quite British about escorts, despite their being from an American manufacturer – similar with the Transit van to some extent, although somewhat less good-looking!

Amidst the packing up I went to see Clint Eastwood’s latest, ‘Gran Torino’. I won’t go into it much – enough to say that it’s probably his greatest role as an actor ever, and a true masterpiece of a story. You come to understand so much about race, and growing up, without even thinking about it. What’s more, 79 years of age, he’s still a badass. I highly recommend it.
