The house pictured above was hit by lightning. No one was killed or injured, but I got the picture because the owner, cool as a cucumber was on local news saying “well, I’m not normally afraid of lightning but when I heard that I thought ‘hmm, sounds like something got hit’”. What? How the hell could you miss that? It’s torn the house in two!

Anyway, it’s the first time I’ve laughed at the news in a while – off to Lindisfarne tomorrow so I’d better get off to bed.
