A colleague and I went to some caves today, and very interesting it was too. Sadly, we weren’t allowed to take pictures or video, so this is about as good as I could get on the sly. It’s dark underground, so it would have been nice to get a shot from a stable position, but I’m sure you get the idea from this.

Amidst all the stalactites and stalagmites we were sat down in an underground amphitheatre and given a little concert in the caves. The musicians were on little boats in an underground lake, slowly floating by in front of us, carefully lit for dramatic effect. It looked good, it sounded good – but a floating underground serenade in the pitch black does get a little odd after a while…
