Who wants to see the stars in the sky anyway? Actually, they’ve pretty much put their own stars up, draped off the town hall here in Palma. I’ve been Christmas shopping, and this is what I saw.
It’s been a very, very stormy day up where I actually live, in Alcudia – the wind and rain battering relentlessly against the window kept me up all night. Luckily, the wild goose chase I endured the other day paid off, and I had the gas heater on keeping me cosy through the storm. It wasn’t that cold, but it’s nice to at least be toasty when you feel as though the windows might implode.
Day 1000 approaches – it sounds like a big day, but I can’t imagine anything particularly special might happen. I did at one point wonder if it was going to land on Christmas day, as it happens it’s close, but not quite there.
