I walked into the port this evening, just to see what was going on there. I found the one Christmas light in town, and it had a broken letter. There are actually bars and shops open here though, so it’s not quite as soulless as further along the coast. Having said that, I was out for two hours and saw ten people – it was seven in the evening.

It’s day 1000 tomorrow. Due to the very nature of Picture of the Day, I have no way of guaranteeing that it’ll be a particularly special day – I just get a picture of what comes up, so I’ll just have to wait and see. It does seem a shame to let it go by though…
